I’ve been blogging on a personal blog, a private blog, for some time. My first post was on January 23, 2007, and it started out as an outlet, something fun to do, a means of just expressing myself and connecting with my friends.  Initially it wasn’t private, but after crude and pathetic anonymous comments, I decided that I don’t want strangers seeing my photos and entries regarding personal matters.  I changed my settings, and invited only those I trust and respect to visit my blog.  But I do want a blog where I can write about more serious things, and not worry about who is reading.  This is more about opening up a dialogue about more important matters, and I vow to not post any photos of any kind, as they do becoming addicting and seem to overshadow my desire to write.  We’ll see where this goes.

ps. I really don’t care for the ads in between my title and text.
